How GTA6 Central handles your data: accounts, contributions, analytics, the AI assistant and local storage. No data sales or advertising tracking.
Data collected
When you create an account, we store your email address, username and, where applicable, avatar. Your contributions, comments, votes and favorites are linked to your account. Signing in with Google or Apple only shares your email address and display name with us.
How we use your data
This data is used solely to operate the site: authentication, contribution attribution, contributor rankings and moderation. We do not carry out advertising profiling.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people visit and improve the site. Data is aggregated and IP address anonymization is enabled. You can block this tracking through your browser or a dedicated extension.
AI Assistant
Questions asked of the assistant are sent to a language model (Google Gemini through Lovable's AI gateway), along with excerpts of site content, to generate an answer. They are not used to train a model and are not linked to your public profile.
Local storage and cookies
The site stores your login session and a few display preferences (grid density) in your browser. No advertising cookies or cookies for data resale are set.
Hosting and service providers
The site is hosted by Lovable (Cloudflare). Supabase (European Union) provides the database, authentication and image storage. Google Analytics and Google Gemini support analytics and the AI assistant.
Data retention
Account data is retained while the account exists. Published contributions remain visible in anonymized form after account deletion to preserve the consistency of the knowledge base.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can exercise these rights or request account deletion through your settings or the official Discord server. No data is sold to third parties.
